Barb moved to Boulder in 1980 and instantly fell in love with Colorado! She moved to Fort Collins and began her career with Hewlett Packard. After 10 years she had the perfect opportunity to return to school when HP started downsizing and had recently remodeled her home discovering she had a passion for design. Colorado State University was one of the premier Interior Design schools and the only one in Colorado that is FIDER accredited (Foundation for Interior Design Research). Barb was able to study design and architecture in London, England between her junior and senior year at CSU and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.

After graduation Barb moved to Denver to begin working in design. After dabbling in other design options, she quickly realized she loved kitchen and bath and specialized in this area. She also spent 4 years in Real Estate, developing relationships and gaining a deep understanding of what can improve the value of your home.

She worked in Denver for 12 years and moved to Conifer in 2009. She began designing for The Kitchen and Bath Center owned by Marion & George Patterson in Evergreen. Realizing she felt at home in this mountain community, it was such a blessing to find work here. Meadow Creek Design Studio was born when she and Catherine decided to partner to share their love of design.

Other interests include anything outdoors, camping, boating, ATVing, hiking and just plain enjoying all Colorado has to offer!

Catherine has 25+ years business and consulting experience at law firms, a multinational telecommunications company and several small businesses where she gained valuable I/T, management, financial, sales, marketing and design skills. In addition to broad business experience, Catherine’s entrepreneurial spirit has led to owning two other businesses and her business partnership with Barb Woycik which resulted in the creation of Meadow Creek Design Studio. Catherine began doing both interior and landscape design as a hobby and stress-buster during her challenging and demanding corporate career for herself, family and friends.

While taking a professional hiatus from 1998-2008 to raise a family, Catherine continued to design for family and friends and began an informal education in all aspects of design. In 2008, Catherine began easing back into the business world on a part-time basis with a small business providing conference services all over the United States.

In 2013, Catherine began working with a local interior designer and gained valuable professional hand-on experience and confirmed her love and passion for design. In 2015, Catherine moved to a local kitchen and bath design center and continued to hone her design knowledge/skills and learn multiple aspects of construction. The added construction knowledge is invaluable in providing outstanding service to clients. She is grateful for both professional design opportunities and their role in contributing to her skill and knowledge base.

When she can tear herself away from work, Catherine loves to cook and entertain, garden, read, hike, ski and spend time with loved ones.

Colleen realized she had a passion for design early in life. As a child she was always interested in interiors and what she liked or would change. After she and her husband purchased their first home her design interests really bloomed. As Colleen raised her family, she decided she wanted a career in design. She attended Arapahoe Community College and received her design degree there. Colleen has had positions in all aspects of design. She formed her own business and worked there for several years. Then she went to work as a sales representative for a national window covering company for fifteen years until semi-retiring.

Colleen loves design and working with clients to help guide them and bring their vision to fruition.

She loves spending time with family and friends. She likes exploring Colorado and spending time outdoors. She is continuously re-designing her new home.

Lori moved to Evergreen from the Midwest and loves all Colorado has to offer. Lori assists Meadow Creek Design Studio in an administrative capacity when she’s not hiking, skiing or crafting. She loves the creative atmosphere of the Showroom and uses her skills to organize sample materials, computer files, and social events. She occasionally dog-sits Charlee Rose too!



Mike is a native of Colorado and loves the outdoors. He’s an avid mountain biker and motorcyclist. He is an integral part of Meadow Creek Design Studio delivering material, tracking product, taking care of clients and the Showroom. 



Charlee Rose is the Meadow Creek Design Studio mascot and welcomes all clients with exuberance!
